No. ELT-CPDFI modules are off-the-shelf, but tailor-made modules can be organised on request.

Yes. A learner can start when the next suitable group is formed from our waiting lists.

Is there an option of online lessons?

Yes, as standard. 2 hpw x 5 weeks.

Yes. However, a dislocation fee may apply.

Is there an option of lessons on a short break?

Yes. Lessons are also delivered in the learner’s own country over a weekend. We hold regular sessions in principal cities of most countries. Accommodation is not included and travel costs may apply.

Yes. ELT-CPDFI modules are off-the-shelf 10-hour courses on 120 topics.

Yes, but only remedially, to cover gaps in prior learning or to revise a particular topic.

Are lessons Interactive?

Yes, there are feedback webinars and personalised marking of written work. Examination success guarantees are not available on short courses.

No. The ELT-CPDSI modules are not an examination-preparation course. However, they may be used remedially, or in preparation for an external examination.

Pre-entry information:

Is there free assessment of prior learning?

Yes. Learners make a voice call, do a multiple choice test and write a short text.

Is there an enrolment fee?

No.

Is there a materials fee?

Yes. It is payable on enrolment and before commencement. The approximate amount is 50 Euros per course. The materials fee is not refundable if the learner withdraws.

Option to pay the tuition fee in instalments

No. This is a short course.

Is there a minimum contract for enrolment hours?

Yes, 10 hours, irrespective of whether the lessons are on-line, in-person, or on a weekend break.

Are there discounts for tuition fees for self-formed groups?

Yes. Please note that self-formed groups must be of connected learners at the same level of ability. See the discount table below.

Is there a minimum level of ability in EFL expected on ELT-CPDFI modules?

Yes, level 4 in EFL. You must have achieved level 3 (pre-intermediate) in EFL to attend an ELT CPD module.

What is your refund policy on ELT-CPDFI modules?

  • Online / In-person: 100% refund if cancelled at least 7 working days before commencement
  • Weekend break: Not refundable
